Ringing in the new year at Harveys Comedy Club and it feels great! Perfect way to start 2015. The feature and headliners are both cool and down to earth dudes, makes green room nicer.
Wed night both shows go off great, and I do the countdown on stage in front of 300 drunks who were loving it. Ended up bar hoping till 2am and having a snuggle buddy to spend the night with.
Fri night was pretty good. The early show was a mostly older crowd and was feeling apprehensive about some of my darker material. The show went well regardless, with a lot of "good jobs" afterwards. The late show was kinda meh. The crowd was small, not even a half full room and it was also a younger crowd. I was feeling great cause I knew they'd be on board with my material. They for the most part, were, but with such a small crowd I felt like I was less than stellar.

Sat shows....well... First two were great! Really solid. Then, I went dark and dirty for the late show. Crowd dug it, but owner was furious. Told me I'd never work his club again. Sometimes you have to make tough choices about were you wanna be as a comedian, I made that choice tonight. And I'm very happy with it.
