About a month ago my friend Jake asked me to be part of a New Year's Eve show that he knew nothing about and I agreed. New Year's Eve came, and I went to the theater, a small brand new Theater built into a warehouse that could hold about 60 people. It was nice, large stage but you could tell her everything was new and there was no Spotlight it was pretty basic.
There was only about 12 people in the audience. It wasn't a very good show but it was better than nothing on New Year's Eve. Jake started the show and did about 10 minutes to "warm them up". Redeeming factors being that my friend Jake and a couple other Comics I like and respect were there. I had some pretty good riffs though, I didn't record the set but I remembered a few of them.
